Academy v Dorset Resort

The First Dorset Youth Academy match of 2023 took place at Dorset Bowls Resort on Sunday 29th January.

This young team aged between 10-15yrs were up against a strong Home side but at 6 ends the Academy had their noses in front by 1 shot but at 10 ends trailed by 6. Despite some valiant efforts by the young players the Academy came out as the losing side on this occasion 47-31.

The score did not reflect the game it’s fair to say and there were some outstanding bowls played by all the Academy players who gained valuable experience on a challenging green!

Well done to everyone who took part, namely: Silvia/Smaranda/Mathew/Molly/Daria/Leo and finally the winning rink for The Dorset Youth Bowls Academy Hannah/Zach and Max!
