About Us //
With the help of all the Outdoor clubs and some Indoor Clubs in Dorset, the Dorset Youth Bowls Academy was inaugurated in April 2019.

After learning the game at club level, those wishing to progress further and compete at a higher level can try out for the Dorset Youth Academy.
​
Many youngsters from our Academy are now playing in the Sutton Winson Tournament held during the National Championships at Royal Leamington Spa. One of our young players was selected to attend an Under 18 Bowls England Training Weekend which he found very beneficial.
With more than 2,000 clubs across England, there’s bound to be one near to you. And bowls is a relatively cheap game compared to other sports, whether you choose to join a club or ‘pay and play’ at your local park.
